Farm News
Today we set up the lambing jugs and readied the barn for lambing. Lambing should start here in another week. We can't wait! The ewes are all looking good and looking ready to burst.
It's a very breezy day here on the farm. The wind has been howling all night long. At least the temperatures are warming up from last week's cold.
Lambing will begin later than usual this year, since we bred using artificial insemination and started breeding in mid-October. We won't expect our first lambs until the middle of March. We will begin vaccinating the flock this weekend and checking over each of the ewes to see how she is doing.
